Hi, my name is Kimberlee Everhard, I am an artist, illustrator and nature enthusiast living and working in northeast Ohio with my husband Joshua. I did graduate from the University of Akron with a BFA, but college was just a small step in my artistic journey, I have always loved art and my style really developed after college and with the help and support of friends and family. I love God, my family and all things nature and animals. I am terrible at writing about myself but here are a few things that you may find interesting about me:
Besides drawing and painting my hobbies include:
Hiking! Locally in Ohio and traveling out of the state when I can. I enjoy hiking the cleveland metro parks, the trails at the Holden Arboretum and the Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Ohio. I have been to some trails in Kentucky, Montana and Wyoming. I went to the Red Wood National forest when I was young and that really inspired my love for trees.
Backpacking is a hobby that I am just beginning to dive into, but I am very excited about it. The difference in backpacking is the challenge that is inherent in going to see some awesome sights. I have done a couple backpacking trips to Kentucky and Pennsylvania and I hope to travel farther yet.
I love to hang out at the farm. My husband's family owns a farm and we love to go there and hang out with the animals and do work around the farm. There is something about farms that regenerates and gives me new energy.
I like to rock climb on occasion, though I'm not very good at it yet.
I love animals, especially cats and dogs.
